At MARE we believe in the power of images to transform perception and spark awareness.
Every photograph, video and reel is a tool to reveal the beauty and fragility of the Balearic Sea, to inspire emotion and to mobilise society toward its conservation.
MARE is not just a contest: it's a conservation initiative that uses imagery as a starting point to generate knowledge, activate projects and strengthen the bond between people and the sea.
Because conservation begins with looking, understanding and getting involved.
And when many perspectives come together, a tide of collective action begins.

AUDIOVISUAL COMPETITION FOR THE CONSERVATION OF THE BALEARIC SEA
MARE invites you to dive into the Balearic Sea through a competition where photography is the main artistic discipline. We invite everyone to capture the beauty of the Balearic Sea’s landscape, wildlife and marine flora — to share it, understand it, enjoy it, learn about the challenges it faces and take part in its conservation.
