DIVE CAMP FORMENTERA

This is a weekly day group, aimed at young people between 8 and 17 years old, which includes a full programme of dynamic activities in direct contact with the sea.

The camp offers youngsters the chance to learn to dive, take part in photography and marine conservation workshops, in the privileged natural environment of the Ses Salines Natural Park on the island of Formentera. 

All these activities aim to raise awareness of the marine environment, its conservation, protection and knowledge.

UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY

Underwater photography workshop is one of the most popular activities. The classes are led by Manu San Félix, director of underwater imaging for National Geographic, along with instructors from the Vellmari diving centre specialised in underwater photography. This workshop is a tool to promote the conservation of the marine environment and give it visibility.

In addition, with the images taken during the week at the Dive Camp, participants will be able to enter the Audiovisual Competition for the Conservation of the Balearic Sea: MARE 2021.

Remember that the dates of the Dive Camp are every week:

• For Formentera: Between June 28th and September 5th.
• For Mallorca: Between the 5th of July and the 30th of August.
